 Winters have always been my favourite season. Cold breeze with some cup of coffee is all i need to kick start my day during winters. Winters have always been tough when it comes to taking care of your skin.Winter winds makes our skin dry and patchy.It becomes essential to use creams and lotions that keep our skin moisturized day long.

 Winter weather is not fun for skin. Cold breeze and low in humidity steals away the moisture from our skin, making it dry. The dryness can be felt especially every time you step out.With the drop in temperature, our hand and feet's starts feeling chapped and cracked too. It is therefore essential to keep our skin well hydrated and moisturize during winter. 

 "Winters and skin are not the best of friends"

  As we change our wardrobe from those light, flowy summer clothes to some more warmer winter clothes, our body skincare products need to be upgraded too. We should start using more moisturizing and hydrating products made specially for winters.
Recently i came across a brand that makes body and skincare products that keeps your skin well moisturize, even during winter.

How? Let me tell you.
The brand is run by Bhagirathi pillai and sahil doshi. Bhagirathi pillai is a psychologist by profession. She love creating artistic product and you can get an idea by watching their products. whereas sahil doshi is a graphic designer by profession and you can get an idea of his work by bath boons product packaging and logo. Their products are simple and made most natural way possible.

I received 3 products from bath boons: 
(1) Hydrating face mist

 (2) Handmade natural lotion 

 (3) lemon grass tea lip balm

                   (1.)HYDRATING FACE MIST



INFO: Face mist is something that i always carry in my bag.While other people prefer using face mist only during summer,bit i believe face mist are equally important during winter too.Face mist add instant glow to your skin.It makes your skin feels moisturized and keep them hydrated.


This face mist by bath boons comes in plastic bottle,with a spray dispenser.The packaging of this product is simple and travel friendly.The product is well packed with no signs of leakage so you can easily carry it in your bag wherever you want to.

This mist contain cucumber juice,rose water,lime juice,distilled water,rose essential oil.
Their products are chemical free and are made completely from natural ingredients which is why this product is in my list.

This mist is light mainly green in colour.you just need few drops of this products,it gets absorbed well in your skin and leaves behind zero stickiness.
I completely loved the smell of this mist,so refreshing.It keeps your skin hydrated for 3-4 hours.It makes your skin moisturise,refreshing and revitalized.

(2.)HANDMADE NATURAL LOTION:

INFO:It is essential to keep our body well moisturise,just like our face.I always keep a small bottle of lotions in my bag, to keep my skin hydrated.This is another good and effective product by bath boons.It is for all skin types.

This lotion comes in strawberry fragrance too.It contains vitamin c and revitalizers,which makes this lotion super effective.It also consists of e-wax,olive oil,rice bran oil and strawberry essential oil.

It comes in a hard tube like packaging with a flip cap on top.The lotion is creamy white in colour.


Texture is little creamy more like oil based lotion.You need to apply it in very less quantity or else you might end up making your skin feel oily.It gets absorbed in your skin quickly.

My skin no doubt feels softer and hydrated after application,but it leaves behind little oiliness,just little,which i consider good thing for winter lotion.As it will help in keeping your skin moisturize for a long time.There is no stickiness in this lotion which is a sign of good product.

Coming to fragrance this smells so fruity,exactly like strawberry essence.Fragrance is on top note for this product.The hydrating power lasts for 5-6 hours in winters.

(3.)LEMON GREEN TEA LIP BALM:

INFO:Winters makes our lips dry and chapped.It is essential to use lip balm during winter.Lip balm helps in providing moisture to our lips and avoids chapped skin .These days,there are so many lip balms available in market,tinted,not tinted,etc.I always look forward to ones made naturally and without any use of chemicals.These lip balms are highly beneficial and also have zero side effects.

This lip balm by bath boons contain lemon and green tea extract.Lemon has vitamin c which helps in protecting skin from UV rays.Our lips are highly sensitive and thus it is essential to use products that are not very toxic,green tea is also good for skin as we all know.

The packaging is simple,just like any other lip balm is yellow in colour. It provides instant moisture to your lips and they stay well hydrated for 4-5 hours.It is little sticky in texture maybe because of presence of natural beeswax. This is not  a tinted lip balm,so it only provides moisturization and not color to your lips.This is good product to use as a lipstick base.

Overall,i enjoyed all the 3 products.The packaging is hygienic,easy to use and travel friendly.These are affordable and can be used on daily basis too. Because these are made naturally you must do an allergy test before application.
